Hello there! So I've decided to start myself a new blog called, well, Lode On Yap Nation. The premise here is simple: I write whatever I want to write about, on my own schedule and time.

I've always wanted to start my own "Yap" blog where I can talk about the most random crap with a level of detail you wouldn't get on, say, a Twitter post or an Instagram story. I was actually inspired by my friend WiiChicken's "100 Days To Offload" sub-blog, where he wrote about something for a hundred days. Every day I would excitedly wake up and check his Offload blog to see whatever he...offloaded on that day. Unfortunately, the 100 days have passed and his blogging rate has significantly slowed down.

If you don't know, 100 Days to Offload is a sort of Internet challenge for thee who still have blogs in the year of our Lord 2025 to blog and just write a Something a hundred times a year. It's a very cool concept, but unfortunately, I don't have the time, the mental energy nor the ability to consistently stick to a hundred blogs in the span of 365 days, so instead, I'm just gonna make a random blog where I post some fairly long blog posts every once in a while that focuses on a specific topic. It's not based on any particular Internet challenge, rather, I'm just doing this because I loooooooove yapping!

LOYN is hosted on a different web platform than my main page, larisb.mmm.page/home, which is hosted at the mmm.page platform. This one is hosted on Neocities, a popular website maker platform thing where you code HTML and stuff. I unfortunately don't know how to use HTML so I generated 99% of the code using a combination of ChatGPT and Google Gemini (except for this website; where it's more like ~80%). Judge me and throw tomatoes at me please.

The title “Lode on Yap Nation” is a wordplay on the words “lode on agnation” which in turn is an anagram of the words “Antonio D’Angelo”! Gee I wonder who Antonio D’Angelo is—
